FEATURE FILMS ENTRY REGULATIONS

Feature films participating in the international competition at the 8th San Sebastian Human Rights Film Festival will be eligible for the Audience Award

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submission deadline is February 28th. In order to be eligible for preview, the entry must be post-marked before the deadline date. This entry deadline applies to the receipt of the preview DVD (both NTSC and PAL formats) and entry form.  Please ensure your DVD is playable and is suitably protected in transit, and that a copy of the registration form is attached with it. Preview DVDs will not be returned. 

DVDs must be labelled with:

•    Film title
•    Main contact email
•    Director’s name
•    Length in minutes

If sending international, please mark “Without commercial value, for cultural purposes only” on package.

A film is considered a Feature for entry and categorisation purposes if it is 31 minutes or more. NO FILM UNDER THAT LENGTH WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS REGISTRATION. Films 30 minutes or less are eligible for entry in the Short Film Competition, and have to entry by registering at www.shortfilmdepot.com.

SHORT FILMS ENTRY REGULATIONS

All films 30 minutes or less are eligible for the international short film competition. TO APPLY TO ANY OF THEM, PLEASE REGISTER YOUR SHORT FILM AT WWW.SHORTFILMDEPOT.COM AND APPLY TO THE SAN SEBASTIAN HUMAN RIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL THERE.

The Short Film Depot makes submitting your short movie to multiple film festivals easier. The free service allows you to register your film once and submit to many festivals without filling in many forms.

No short film will be considered for selection without being previously registered at Short Film Depot. Once registered, please follow the indications for sunmission.

Registration deadline is FEBRUARY 28TH , 2010.
