TERRORIST VIOLENCE AND ITS VICTIMS
The victims of terrorism have in many cases suffered lack of recognition, support and backing from society and even from the institutions. They demand justice, memory and repair.
In its 50 years of existence, ETA has killed over 800 people from all social walks of life, from members of the army and the state security forces to civilians: judges, politicians, lawyers, entrepreneurs, journalists, tourists, children or ex-members of the terrorist organisation, etc. Hundreds of people have also been injured. Thousands live in the grip of threats, extortion or persecution.
A multitude of families and life projects have been destroyed by the injustice of terrorism.
