“Based on Emma’s experience of domestic violence, we want to highlight the situation of many other women, using music, dance, testimonies, debate and images, ideas and feelings to provoke thought. With this action, taking us from the height of love to the pits of offence, we look at the torment of physical abuse.
The ancient Basque proverb Kalean uso, etxean otso is an excellent definition of this painful situation. With this performance, we want to open a space for reflection, so that society will no longer accept these situations and attitudes as normal and put a stop to them at the first sign of their existence”.
